The enchanting story is told through the eyes of a little girl named Käbi in the 1960s.
The Gardener of Kadriorg tells the story of how a child becomes one with nature from an early age, growing up together with plants, trees, bees, ladybugs, birds, vegetables, fruit, berries and honey, all of which can be found in our own nature, in our own gardens, in real places throughout Estonia. It is also the story of a small country developing into a state.
